Toesday Tuesday ~ Ouch!

Some days there won't be a song in your heart.
Sing anyway.

Hai.. Shorty here.
Mom has been busy and not blogging.
To add to her busy-ness, I pulled my toenail owt!
The kittycats are taking good care of me.
Happy Tuesday everyfur!

Make room for Mom

I'd been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult.
It's not. Mine had me trained in two days.

-Bill Dana-
When Mom gets out of bed one of us will hop into her place.
Can you guess which one it is? The remote may give it away.
Left to right we are:
Noah, Malachi, Sara, Napoleon, Jasmine, Anna Sue
and Shorty.
The sun is shining and Bob and Patrick are very happy!
We hope the sun is shining on you, too.

Wordy Wednesday ~ Shorty

God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone,
but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.

-Martin Luther-
After the RAIN in Atlanta area, we went to the park.
I've never seen water here.
We saw lots of mushrooms.
Some short ones.
Some tall ones.
Some fat ones.
But all I really wanted to do was walk!
Let's go Mom!!
Happy Wednesday everybuddy..

Friends ~ Chance and Shorty

No matter how little money
and how few possessions you own,
having a dog makes you rich.

-Louis Sabin-
Before Mom got so sick, we went to see our friend
CHANCE
We met him when our KittyBoy went to The Rainbow Bridge.

His Mom is a little worried about his hips, but the last
time we talked to her (well, Mom does the talking)
she said that he has learned a new way to stand up,
and is doing better. We love to visit him, and he loves us!

Photo Hunt ~ Protection

A barking dog is often more useful than a sleeping lion.
-Washington Irving-
This week the Photo Hunt is
Protection
We are sure you remember Shorty, the little dog that
lost his human and a couple of weeks later, he lost his
brofur, Puppy. Mom was so glad that the neighbor let
her come visit and walk him. She could even bring him
home for us to see and visit with. They just live next
door, so he did not have to go far to come see us!

Well, our announcement is:
Shorty is OURS!
The neighbor and Mom agreed that he needed to be
with someone, and since they worked all day long, he
could come and live with us! Of course they will visit
him as often as they want to. We are very excited
and happy to add a new member to our furamily!
We think he will be a lot of Protection because he
Barks!

Puppy has gone to Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven........
Above is our furiend, Puppy. His Mom passed away last
month. Our Mom fed him and his brofur, Shorty while
things were taken care of out of state.
We were so sad to learn yesterday that Puppy
had gone to The Rainbow Bridge.
We wonder if he missed his Mom so much.
When we learned this, Mom asked if she could get
Shorty and spend some time with him. He spent
the day walking outside and staying inside with us.
Not one of us even slapped him. We knew he was
a very sad little boy. Mom will be able to get him
any time she wants to, so we hope to see more of him!

Soar high on swift wings, Puppy...

A couple of sweet pups!

When we lose someone we love,
it seems that time stands still.

PUPPY

SHORTY

These sweet little guys recently lost their MomBean.
They are living with her son and family next door.
Our Momma has been visiting and feeding them
while the family has gone to scatter her ashes.
They are very lonesome, but today ran around
when Momma went to see them!
She smells weird when she comes home, but
we are glad she is able to help them be
happy little pups again!
