A Tree On The Fence!

When great trees fall,
rocks on distant hills shudder,
lions hunker down
in tall grasses,
and even elephants
lumber after safety..
  - Maya Angelou -

This was not the greatest tree, but Mom Bobbie is
a tree lover, so she is sad that it fell, although
as you can probably see, it was rotten and weak.
She is very sad that it fell on our fence, but
glad we were not near by!

  1. Yikes!! Oh your poor fence!! At least Bob and Patrick have a great snack there! Yes but you boys must stay with mum!

Yes, glad you are all ok! Hopefully this tree will have seeded some seedlings for the future!! Take care

  2. Oh my, the poor tree, and the poor fence!

  3. You guys are having a feast! So it's all good... well, except for the fence.

  4. Oh, how sad! We are sorry that your beautiful tree fell (and sorry about your poor fence, too)!

  5. WE are so sorry that the tree destroyed your pretty bench! and your fence!

  6. So sorry about your tree and your bench! Be good boys and don't get out because Mom Bobbi will be very upset. Oh, and our mom just loves you two!

  7. Oh no did they stay in their yard? Hopefully eating all that bark kept them happy.

Glad to see you are blogging again :)

  8. Hello, when you live in the south as we do, we expect trees to topple, huh? Hello, I loved the video, and your blog! I found you at KN Lounge blog, and we have joined your blog so we can follow you! We invite you to stop by to visit us and join/follow us too, we would love having you. Thanks so much..

  9. Thank you for your kind words of sympathy for the loss of our beloved Grrreta. Your thoughtfulness and friendship are truly appreciated.

  10. That is sad about what happened to the tree, but we are glad that your weren't nearby for when it fell. Now you all and mom can plant a new one in it's spot. Have a great day.
