Friday without Phillip

If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.
- Winnie The Pooh -

Hai Furriends.. Yesterday was a big day here...
Mr. Bobby came by and picked up Phillip
for his trip to Connecticut.
We think it is a squillion and seven miles away,
but Mom Bobbie and Mr. Bobby said
'No, not really'...

He was not entirely ready to go, but it was time....

Mom Bobbie was not entirely ready for him to go...

Bob and Patrick are always there to meet and greet...
or
to say g'bye.....

Mom Bobbie loves you very, very much Phillip.
We know Mom Robin will find you the Best Forever Home
in the whole wide world!

He had a different PTU when he got to the transport place..
He even had his very own number!
It was big and sorta pink.

G'bye Precious Phillip!
Safe travel, God be with your drivers and we
look forward to seeing pictures of you soon at
Mom Robins house!

This is where Mom Bobbie had to spend most of the day.
Just a regular scheduled appointment....
Everything checked out OK, but she said part of her
heart got put in that pink carrier on that yellow trailer,
and is traveling a squillion and seven miles away....

Hope you have a happy Friday..

-Mom Bobbie-
and if I may add...
Fostering is one of the hardest things I've ever done.
I am going to slow down for a couple of months,
partly because of the weather and partly because I need
a break from the heart ache that comes with it.
It's highly likely that Freya (Arizona), Bonita, MacGruber and
Phillip
would have been euthanized if it had not been for rescuers
asking if there was anyone, anywhere that could foster for a while.
I'm glad I had a small part in saving their lives and I have such high
regard for those that do rescue work and adoptions.
They are my hero's ...
If you have a small space in your home and a large place
in your heart, consider fostering for one of the rescue groups.
There are hundreds of them that need help.

Eaglets fly free today!

Faith makes things possible, not easy.

Remember when Dad Norfolk realized his three babies were
not in the nest any longer?
You can read about it HERE.
They have been raised and taken
care of by the Wildlife Center of Virginia and will be
Released Today!
You can watch HERE starting at 10:00, release at 11:00.
It, for me, is a sad, happy, scary, wonderful event.
Then, tomorrow... Phillip will also start a new journey.
I love him so much, and know he will have the purrfect home.

Two days on Tuesday-Phillip

Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind.

Ah-ha! Another v-e-t office.

Oh boy! I am getting a real good cuddle by Miss Heather!

Now I know why I am here.

Mom Bobbie is very sad that I am leaving....but
she is happy that I will soon have my

Mancat Monday ~ Phillip

I believe in animal rights,
and high among them is the right
to the gentle stroke of a human hand.
- Robert Brault -
Hai furriends...I am a very Happy Mancat!
I am enjoying my freedom. Although I do not get to see the other cats here except to see them when my door is opened, I am still free! A few weeks ago I was in a high kill shelter in Georgia. Robin of CICH saw my picture and asked a friend if she would foster me until I could travel. If this had not happened, I would not have my freedom. My time would have probably run out, or maybe I would have gotten sick, or no more room, and I would have been put down. So, you see why I am happy to have my freedom, even if it is in a room of my very own, with toys to play with and a little bit of nip and fresh food and water and humans that love me and give me good pets and scritches..I am a very happy Mancat!
Now I'll return the blog to The Bunch ^..^
Happy Mancat Monday!!
