Malachi on Thursday

One of the advantages of being disorganized
is that one is always having surprising discoveries.
- Winnie The Pooh -
Hai furriends!
My Mom thinks I look good in pink.
I think it clashes with my orange furs, right?
Happy Thursday!

Thankful Thursday ~ Timothy

Whoever said money can't buy happiness
simply didn't know where to go shopping.
- Bo Derek -

Mom left us yesterday! I am watching for her to come home.
This is Moms cousins, sister and aunt.

They were checking out stuff that I don't need.
Do you see any treats?

Mom said she likes those pretty sunflower items.
She loves sunflowers!

More pretty stuff, but no Temptations or Friskies in sight.

Christmas! Nice to think about, it is almost 100 degrees now.
She finally came home and fed us.
It was hard waiting, but we survived!
Happy Thursday to all our furriends ..
~Timothy and The Bunch
(I'm thankful that Mom remembered that today is not Friday
and changed her words. Just can not depend on her at all!)

Thankful Thursday - Phil

Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don't unravel.
- Unknown -
Hai everyone! I am Phillip and I am still a foster here! I am not easy to photograph, can you tell? Mom Bobbie had the camera and the bean daughter, Rene' was trying to get me to turn around so everyone could see my handsome self. Well, that didn't work!

I just wanted to borrow the blog and say how thankful I am to Robin at Covered In Cat Hair for saving my life! She is also involved in saving a stray cat and her brand new babies here in Georgia. Please take a minute, go over and see that lucky family right HERE!
We are ALL so thankful for Robin and people like her! As much as Mom Bobbie will miss me, (because I am such a good, sweet, handsome kitty cat) I am looking forward to meeting Robin when I get to Connecticut.

Today we are thankful for the sun.

Thankful Thursday ~ Napoleon

The great thing about getting older
is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been.
- Madeleine L'Engle - -

Hai, Napoleon here, trying to keep warm.
Mom just gave me fluids, and I am resting.
I still prefer to not take them, but they sure do help me!
I am 19 years old and very thankful that there are
ways to keep us CRF kitthehs going.
I can not see except shadows and I am pretty much deaf,
maybe that is a good thing around all these other kitteh cats!
Hope every fur and Bean has a good Thursday!

Napoleon ~ Thankful and sad

The fate of animals is of greater importance to me
than the fear of appearing ridiculous.
- Emile Zola -

We are again thankful that we are inside kittycats!
Sure, some of us beg to go out, especially the former ferals,
but Mom just will not let us.
Night before last we heard coyotes, it was a chilling sound.
Then we heard the kittycat..
Mom jumped out of bed and ran out on the deck and yelled
'Stop it! Stop it!' and clapped her hands over and over.
The noise finally stopped, Mom was so upset.
Bob and Patrick were in the basement because it was cold.
Below is a picture of where we think the attack happened.
Mom worries about Bob and Patrick, but they are pretty big.
Soar High little kittycat...fly with the angels...
Hope you are having a safe and nice Thursday!
This time last year, Mom was at Emory Hospital,
in very, very serious trouble.
Now she is jumping out of bed,
running out on the deck and yelling at coyotes.
We are thankful and she got cold on the deck!

Thankful Thursday ~ Miss Emily

There is no such thing as pure pleasure;
some anxiety always goes with it.
- Ovid -

I am thankful to have this catnip toy, but
I may not have it long.
My brofurs and sisfurs may try to take it from me.
Have a nice Thursday, and stay warm and safe.
If there are any kittycats or pups outside,
let them in when it is so cold!

Thankful Thursday ~ Napoleon

Age attacks when we least expect it.
- Carrie Latet-
Sometimes my Mom is sad because she knows I am
getting old. I try to tell her it is just a part of life.
I am 18 years old, and things are slowing down.
I like to sleep, and I like to eat.
I think I'm doing fine and am Thankful to be here!
Happy Thursday everyone!

Thankful Thursday~Malachi and Napoleon

The day of the sun is like the day of a king.
It is a promenade in the morning,
a sitting on the throne at noon,
a pageant in the evening.
-Wallace Stevens-

Malachi:
Hey Napoleon! What is that brightness??
Should we be afraid??

Napoleon:
My dear Malachi, that is the Sun.
Let us give thanks for the rain, and we are thankful
for the sun, too. We have seen the rain is now moving
up the east coast. We hope all our furiends will stay dry!

Happy Thursday to all..

Thankful Thursday ~ People that rescue

Think occasionally of the suffering of which
you spare yourself the sight.

-Albert Schweitzer-
Trailer full of puppy mill rescues
~
Time to unload and give to rescue groups.
~
All sizes of dogs that will live without misery of..
~
being bred over and over until they are ..
~
no longer useful to the puppy mill owner..
~
No more living on stacked cages with wire for floor
all of their misery filled lives...
~
Beautiful dogs will go to rescue groups to be
evaluated, made healthy, fostered and go to their
Forever Homes!
I want to thank Katzenwoofers Pet Rescue for
these images. She works tirelessly with her rescues,
and is and has a great success record with adoptions.

Thankful Thursday ~ Timothy

Bittersweet October.
The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause
between the opposing miseries of summer and winter.
-Carol Bishop Hipps-
We're thankful for the nice weather!
Happy Fall from The Bunch!

Thankful Thursday ~ Anna Sue

Our prayers should be for blessings in general,
for God knows best what is good for us.

-Socrates-
We are so thankful that we did not get flooded this week.
So, so many of our fellow Georgians do not have homes,
or cars, and some of them lost their lives.
The Yellow River here in our town is still over it's banks.
Please keep our Georgia furiends and beans in your
prayers.

Thankful Thursday ~ Jasmine

Forget injures, never forget kindnesses.
-Confucius-
I'm so much better!
I am very thankful to the special people that helped me
get out of a bad situation. I felt bad, I looked bad and
I was being tossed outside (I am declawed) because
a child was allergic. As you can see, I am much better!
My full story is HERE
