Photo Hunt ~ Technology

I like my new telephone,
my computer works just fine,
my calculator is perfect,
but Lord, I miss my mind!

As you can see, our Mom has a lot to learn.
Can you tell by my expression that she takes

There are other kinds of technology that we
appreciate, like all these machines that were
hooked up to our Mom for a week in May.

Furiends Furever Friday

Long, long ago Patrick and Bob had to stay in
the basement at night because they were so tiny.
This was a sqillion years before Mom even knew what
a digital camera was. During the day they stayed
outside (sometimes they got to come in).

Patrick tried to be taller than me!
They are very big now and have to stay outside.
Bob and Patrick are almost ten years old.

Dear friends, while visiting our furiends blog, we saw
Purrever Ranch Sanctuary
A Hospice for Senior Kittycats.
Our mom has always wanted to do this for cats that no one
wanted, but due to health and financial situation, she can't..
The next time your human has a couple of extra green papers,
maybe they could go by the ranch and donate a little.

Photo Hunt ~ Veterans Day

We often take for granted the very things
that most deserve our gratitude.

In honor of Veterans Day
this is our Granddaddy-bean in 1942.

He served in France. We wonder if any of the men he
served with are still here. He is last on the right, next
to the visitor, The Phillip Morris man. Mom wishes he
had never started with those cigarettes, as they helped
take his life with emphysema and lung cancer in 1999.
Many of us Bunch knew him, even Bob and Patrick! He and
Mom looked at different goat farms to find just
the right goats for us. Mom misses him a very much.
We honor all our military and hold them in our
hearts and prayers.

Mom took me to the vet yesterday. She is worried about
the cancer, but the doctor said I am doing all right. I
tried to tell her that it is cold and I was just resting,
but sometimes she can be hard-headed!

Hi Boyz - I managed to get out while Mom was
getting Shorty in! Wasn't that great?!
Before I came here this year, I was an inside
outside cat, but no more. I was glad she let
me stay out for a while and have a bit of grass
with you and share your sunshine!

Make room for Mom

I'd been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult.
It's not. Mine had me trained in two days.

Help for little babycat, Marty!

I believe in animal rights, and high among them is
the right to the gentle stroke of a human hand.

This little babycat, Marty, had a prolapsed anus and was in the ER last night.
After two trips they finally did get the swelling down so he could move his bowels.
If you can, please give a $1 or two to help raise funds for
the permanent surgery that can fix little Marty and give him the life he deserves.
