~ If you're short of trouble, get a goat ~
This week's Photo Hunt is Creative. Again, I had no photo as I've been a little busy helping transport some great dogs to a rescue group in Ohio.
I brought one of them here so I could take a turtle found on the highway to a place on my property where I release them. It's way back behind Bob (brown/white) and Patrick in the woods where there is nothing to harm them. I took this when they saw the pup.
Thought this might be creative. My Boyz don't like to eat off the ground, so I wired a shelf to the fence to keep the hay dry and off the ground. A bit tacky, but it works for them!

ReplyDeleteThat’s real creative way of keeping the hays dry. Hmmm...how could you have found a turtle on the highway? You meant a tortoise right? Happy Weekend! http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2007/07/photo-hunters-creative.html

Got to be creative sometimes to keep the furkids happy!
ReplyDeleteIf there had been no fence, would your goats have gone after the dog? (I know nothing about these things). They look SO serious there about the dog. They are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi meeyauw:
ReplyDeleteNo the goats would not hurt a dog. You can read HERE why they were alarmed when they saw the pup.
It was a pretty bad time for Patrick especially.

Of course Bob and Patrick do not eat off the ground! They are Good Goats and they know better than that. I like a goat with good manners.

thanks for stopping by!
We have lotsa turtles in our pond. They go out on the road and get runned ofur. Momma says people stop and pick them up and help them. She says it is so sad when one gets all mushed up.
ReplyDeletePatches
Good idea and it keeps their food clean and dry. Thanks for dropping by the Poor Mouth!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty interested in this new intruder, even if he was just passing through.
ReplyDeleteI like this different take on the theme: practical creativity. Excellent.

ReplyDeleteVery creative~!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Thanks for helping the woofies!
ReplyDeleteA creative take on a creative theme! I love goats. Had one as a pet when I was a child. They have such sweet faces.
ReplyDeleteYou sure do love animals! I can't believe it when I saw all those thumbnails of the cats and dogs who've lived with you before. I've cared for a Golden Retriever before so I know how much patience and effort it takes to care for them. Mine was just one, but yours is ... SO MANY!
ReplyDeleteNot tacky at all...pretty dang creative!
