Formerly Feral ~ Maggie Mae

Every tooth in a man's head is more valuable than a diamond.
-Don Quixote-
In 1996 I was a little feral girl.
My Mom's Daddy (God rest his soul)
saw me in a tree in his yard. It was drizzling
rain and took three days to get me down.
Being Formerly Feral is a good thing!

Thankful Thursday

My mother had a great deal of trouble with me,
but I think she enjoyed it.

-Mark Twain-
While lounging around on the cat tree this morning,
I happened to glance out the window and was
surprised to see a
Turkey!

I'm thankful that we can see lots of different
critters from our windows. Usually we see deer,
and this is the first turkey we've seen.
Hope everyfur has a nice window to sit by!
Mom has an appointment today to see if she
needs a Root Canal. Eww. We hope she does not!

I think I've discovered the secret of life -
you just hang around until you get used to it.

Photo Hunt ~ Noah and Remembering Holly

Safety never takes a holiday.

I would *really* like to go outside but
Mean Mom said
No, the door stays LOCKed!
(I think we really stretched this week)
Visit TNChick's and see if anyone else
s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d as much as we did!

Leisure Time ~ Anna Sue

I would not exchange my leisure hours
for all the wealth in the world.

-Comte de Mirabeau-
I have lots of leisure time, it helps me stay fluffy!
Hope you all have some time for leisure, too.

Formerly Feral ~ Malachi

You may be deceived if you trust too much,
but you will live in torment unless you trust enough.

-Frank Crane-

Thankful Thursday!

If you have health, you probably will be happy,
and if you have health and happiness,
you have all the wealth you need,
even if it is not all you want.

-Elbert Hubbard-

Our Mom is feeling much better and we think she will
be blogging again for us, maybe not every day, but
at least more than we have been!

About six years ago, Mom transported a death row
cat to a lady in North Georgia. Sadly, about three
years after that, the nice lady died. Mom went
to the funeral and told the husband if he ever
needed anything to let her know.
Well..
That was about three years ago. The husband
called Mom (the second day she was out of ICU)
and said his new wife's son was severely allergic
to the cat. Well, You Know Mom got her, thanks to
a lot of help from her internet friends! She was
in pretty bad shape. Sores, scratches, fur missing
were some of her problems. .......
~ but now ~

..with a vet visit, some treatment and some
decent food, she has made a great recovery!
Her name is Jasmine, she was pulled from AC
on the day she was to die. She'd had kittens,
but was spayed. She is a front paw declaw, and
will never go outside. We don't think that is
unusual, as we can't go out, either. Never!

Other than that and our Mom being so sick,
everything is about the same.
This is what she looked at for seven days.
