A vishus deer ran right smack into Momma's metal traveling machine.
She managed to get out of the bent door, but the deer had run away.
It was dark and she was almost to a stop sign, going slow.
We sure do hope the deer is OK. She never saw it.
You can almost see the outline of the deer.
We think it's shoulder and neck were in front,
and the rump was at the door handle.
There was a hoof print on the back.
Below is after Wilson's Body Shop in Conyers fixed it!

Some of you are not having a déjà vu experience.

We're always worried about this very thing happening...lucky it hit where it did...could have been much worse to your health and/or vehicle.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the deer is OK. Glad your Mom is alright and the METAL machine can be fixed.

I'm not surprised you used the picture more than once. I'm sure that deer left a deep impression. :)
ReplyDeleteYowsa! We have a lot of deer-car accidents in our area, too. They sure can wreak a good deal of damage, the monsters!

Is the second photo after the repair, or before the accident? If it's after the repair, they did a great job on it.
ReplyDeleteI think the LOLcat below is very touching and sweet.
Ouch! Amazing the damage a deer can do. Thank goodness your Mom didn't hit it head on and flip it - too scary to think about! We have a lot of deer in our area too - especially dangerous for motorcyclists.
ReplyDeleteLove the Winnie the Pooh quote!
I'm glad you put that disclaimer. I was a bit confused!
ReplyDeleteWow they did a good job fixing up your car! You can't even tell it happened. Thanks for stopping by mine.

I had a similar encounter many years ago when one of those beasts ran out in front of me. I nearly missed her anyway, but my right front corner clipped her right read corner. Fortunately there was just a slight wrinkle in the fender and a broken headlight adjuster that I was able to fix myself.
ReplyDeleteThe deer fled the scene so I was unable to get her insurance information.
We have the same thing over here with big scary kangaroos!
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry it happened to you! Hugs from the topcatrules girls - Tigger and Trixie and Pyewacket. :)
We hope the deer is alright, too!
ReplyDeleteThat vishus deer did a lot of damage, but the garage made a good job.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, the vishus deer are taking on cars now?! They seem to be getting vishuser. We are glad you are safe, it must have been scary.
