This is Rocky and Baxter, formally known as Dale. They were on Death Row in a Georgia shelter/pound. Marilyn's Voice, a rescue group in Ohio, saw their photos and offered to find them forever homes. I played a small part in the transport.
As I said in an earlier post. It makes my heart sing to help these animals.
Thank you Marilyn's Voice and the many, many people involved in saving these lives and others like them!
Rescue folks have proven to be so vital in saving the lives of so many animals that would never have stood a chance. Their work is usually endless and without much praise from others, except for the grateful lives they save! Congratulations on your part in saving these beautiful boys.
Fabulous and thanks for helping to spread the words. Our animals have all been adopted from shelters or simply found homeless (in the case of my beautiful golden retriever who nearly died but the vet saved her and she lived to be 13.5).
You have an amazing heart, I'm so very glad you came by so that I could meet YOU! We have adopted all our animals--currently three cats and one big old basset! xo

ReplyDeleteThat is really neat--we are allergic to animals so can't have much to do with them, but it is still neat.
