Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!

Unknown - 3/3/16

He came trotting up to me one pretty October day in 2013. I said 'Hi there, CatCat.. glad to meet you, but you can not stay here.' He was a big, big boy with a tipped ear, neutered and after he convinced me he wanted to be part of The Bunch, declared quiet healthy by my vet, and was oh so loving.

I had to say good-bye to him on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He had died during the night. I've never met a cat that loved so much. With great, huge paws he would hug and give a complete face cleaning if desired. He had absolutely no concept of personal space. Everybody's space was his space. I've missed racing him to a favorite (my favorite!) chair, missed the many hugs, seeing him cuddle with the other cats.. have missed him so much.

He has gone to the next world where I believe we will meet again
I know Napoleon is showing him around .. I have so many furbabies there...
Good-bye CatCat, for now.

Good-bye for now, Gatsbi

We understand death for the first time
when he puts his hand upon one whom we love.

We were very sad to learn Gatsbi had to run off to
The Rainbow Bridge

Puppy has gone to Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven........
Above is our furiend, Puppy. His Mom passed away last
month. Our Mom fed him and his brofur, Shorty while
things were taken care of out of state.
We were so sad to learn yesterday that Puppy
had gone to The Rainbow Bridge.
We wonder if he missed his Mom so much.
When we learned this, Mom asked if she could get
Shorty and spend some time with him. He spent
the day walking outside and staying inside with us.
Not one of us even slapped him. We knew he was
a very sad little boy. Mom will be able to get him
any time she wants to, so we hope to see more of him!

Soar high on swift wings, Puppy...

Swift Wings, Bandit

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

I grabbed him from the middle of the street,
Maybe the word is catnapped..in 1994.
He was a crazy little cat and loads of fun.
He was always in the middle of it all..

Bandit grew into a very handsome Mancat...

His last days were comfortable.

Pixie has gone to The Bridge

Rest In Peace, Sweet Pixie

Our friend Pixie has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She was Daisy's sisfur and for six years had suffered with with feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We know Daisy will miss her so, and we will, too. We will try to eat a bananer in her memory. We know Momma will think of her every time she eats a bananer.
We'll see you at The Bridge, Pixie..

Remembering Georgia

Just this side of Heaven is a place......

Hi Napoleon here.
A year ago today my little sisfur Georgia had to leave for
The Rainbow Bridge
She was such a tiny little kitten, and I was her protector.
I loved her very much.

Sometimes she didn't exactly love me back.
I loved her anyway.

I know she is waiting at The Bridge,
playing in the meadows chasing butterflies.
I love you Georgia and miss you so.....
Love, your brofur..

We are the center of their universe.
We are the focus of their love and faith and trust.

PETA Involved In Cruelty Trial

~ It is hard to be brave, when you're only a Very Small Animal ~
Piglet, Pooh's Little Instruction Book

Jurors will decide whether two of PETA employees were, as PETA argues, providing humane deaths to animals that would otherwise have been painfully killed in gas chambers -- or whether, as several local officials say, they were taking animals on the promise of finding them homes and secretly killing them.

Gasper Looses Battle ..

Georgia Aquarium officials said that beloved beluga whale, Gasper, was humanely euthanized.

Gasper had been ill prior to arriving at the Georgia Aquarium in October, 2005. He was severely underweight and had visible skin lesions. Gasper was later diagnosed with osteomyelitis, an infection of the bone.

In the past few days, Gasper's physical condition declined rapidly.

Recognizing Gasper's failing health and with quality of life in mind, the Georgia Aquarium's veterinarian team made the hard decision to humanely euthanize the whale.

"We rescued Gasper knowing that he was seriously ill, but were hopeful that we might have been able to save him," said said Bernie Marcus, Georgia Aquarium benefactor and chairman of the board.

Gasper won the hearts of the Atlanta community as he entertained Aquarium visitors.

A beluga whale sculpture is being developed for the Georgia Aquarium entrance plaza.

Aquarium guests may sign memory books located on the first and second floors of the beluga exhibit.
