There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast.
~Formally Feral Friday~
Hai...Malachi here. I had to take a ride in Moms
Big Metal Machine today. The v-e-t had to look
at my teeths again. Mom also wanted her to check
me out because I'm gaining weight. I am up to
15 pounds and am still a growing boy. Since
KittyBoy gained weight, it worries Mom, but
Dr. Kidd said I am fine, and asked if I got
human food, which I do not. I just eat twice
a day with my brofurs and sisfurs.
I'm just going to be a big boy, and being
formally feral, I Like To Eat!
Beans sometimes worry too much.
Hope you all have a Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteWe're happy that you're doing so well, Malachi!
ReplyDeleteMalachi, you are all mancat! Sounds like your mom is like our mom in the worrying department, but that can be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are well!!!
Love the quote too!
What a sweet and cozy photo of you. And, yes, beans do worry too much sometimes. Me, Stripes sir Mancat am around 15 too. Nice solid real man.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious rump ... mommy thinks you will make a great pillow on cold winters.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Handsome mancat you are Malachi! Glad the size is not a health problem
ReplyDeleteWe understands that Mom's worry especially if there are changes. You are a good looking guy! Glad you got a good report! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Malachi! I am glad you are healthy and doing good. I think being a big kitty is a good thing. Just more of you to love!
ReplyDeleteYou are perfect Malachi! And, big is all relative; we were at the shelter bringing a dog to our rescue the other day, and there was a 30 pound office cat just lying around. She was BIG & BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteMalachi, I love to eat too! The lady with the yellow hair sez it's because I never had regular food for the first part of my life...
ReplyDeleteYou look furry comfy there...
Sorry you had to go to the v-e-t,but glad it eased your Mom's mind. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI think there is just more of you to love!
ReplyDeleteMalachi, we love the "formerly" part of your name, and we do not think an extra pound or two matters so long as you are healthy and happy!
ReplyDeleteWhen I just went to the vet I was 16 lb. 2oz., down from 16 lbs. 8oz. last year. I also am formerly homeless & wouldn't stop eating for a long time. I've finally realized that there will be food, so I've slowed down in the eating department. As long as you're eating sensibly...don't worry! Love you as you are:)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear TED gave you a good checkup!
ReplyDeleteMalachi,
ReplyDeleteDon'ts be frettin. My frend Delilah wayz 16 poundz too. & we only feedz her twice a day.. no peeplez food. None of us other catsez iz big but her. But, she iz beeotyfull & so are you!

This is Maxi speaking. Dr Tweety's brother. I am the gladest cat, because you came to help purr for me.
I was so sick, that I even gave up a little. And still, the doc couldn't figure out what was wrong with me.
I have lost a lot of weight, so I think I will come over and help myself to some of your delectable foods!
Momentito... transporter here I come!
