So, Momma can not focus a camera. She's just had it
ten years or so, maybe she will learn soon
(if she'd stay off Facebook)
T'Abby asked about my name and Mom thought a newpost would
be best to 'splain how I got it. My first name was Little Fella..
That is not much of a name for such a fine looking boy.
Around Christmas time her uncle gave her a few pages of family
history and saw her great-great-great Grandad was named Malachi.
Born 1781 - Died 1873
Such a nice name, has a nice sound, she thought, and the last
book in the New Testament, too..she liked it a lot for a name.
So, that is how I became Malachi ^-^
I should mention that his grandson, Daniel Sanders
1854 - 1876
died from a gunshot wound from Marshall Dykes.
We would sure like to know more about that, but there
is no more information concerning it.
Maybe he is the skeleton in our closet?
Hope everybean and everyfur has a
Great Friday!

ReplyDeleteYou, as part of "The Bunch" were so kind to leave a comforting comment upon my beloved Jake’s passing last month. The cat blogosphere is a wonderfully caring community, and I am honored to be a part of it. Thank you for your support during this difficult time for me. Jake’s memory will forever live in my heart and mind.
