Some of my Fake cats.
Along with them are a few treasures.
The Raggedy Andy belonged to my son. He took it to Germany a couple of times. That was in the early 70's. It has no arms, but did have a great life and lives peacefully now with other memories.
The Clown on the other side is my daughter. Well, it's a doll of my daughter when she was a clown with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. That was in the 80's.
The picture bottom left is my Mom, daughter and me. The picture in the yellow frame has my Daddy in it. He was in The Heat Of The Night several times. This episode was 'Sanctuary' in 1992 and his longest time on screen!
They filmed here and in Covington, GA and were so good for and to our communities. I miss them.
~~Gracie ~There is a statue of a Vishus Deer and her baby on the bottom shelf by that silly walking bowling ball. It was given to our Meowmie-B by her Daddy and she said it won't come to life and jump out and get us...but she keeps those glass doors closed just in case.
Those are some great fake cats. And how neat to have a replica-doll of your daughter during her clown days. I biggified and I saw the vishus deer, too! Aaaaaahhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteMommy says that when we get all moved and unpacked she is going to let me show all of the "fake" cats we have in our home. She's afraid people will think we are nuts, but, so what?

ReplyDeleteHe was an extra in most all he was in, but this particular one he played a Monk. It was filmed at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit here in Conyers.
He was the Monk that drove the man to the Depot. He was the only one that wore street clothes. It took a week to film. I wish I had more pictures of this episode.
~Bobbie (Mom to The Cats)
