Maggie Mae has an eye infection. We've been going to the vet every day for them to put medicine in her right eye. Most folks could do that at home, but Maggie Mae is very strong and hefty, umm, I mean ladylike *grin*
I can't hold her still, open her eye and put the medicine in all while she wants nothing more than to scratch me with those claws in those pretty little feet.
Purrs Maggie get better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Maggie Mae, you are a very strong girl! I hope your eye is all better soon. You must be a good girl and let them put the medicines in, OK?
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I don't envy you! She looks like a big strong girl and I know I have trouble putting drops into my kitty's ears. I can't hold her still either so one of my kids helps me.
ReplyDeleteI do my cats immunizations, I always need help for the 16 pound black cannon ball names Smudgie.
ReplyDeleteAwwww Maggie Mae~ I hope your eye gets all better very soon!
ReplyDeleteOh Maggie, I don't envy you. Just when you think you have those humans under control they go and do something dastardly, like this!

ReplyDeleteHave stuff put in your eye is NO fun. I know because Momma had to put it in my eyes for a few weeks. I hope you feel better real soon

oh no - we hope your eye gets better soon! our Lady would have to take me to the vet for eye medicine too, if I needed it. there's no way I'd put up with that without bloodshed.
ReplyDeleteGrr
Since I like to bunnykick, Mom wraps me up in a bath towel so I look like a feline-filled terrycloth burrito. She then holds be with her legs, gets an eye open with her left hand and squeezes the drops in with her right. She doesn't get furry badly scratched this way. Maybe Maggie May will let you try this?

Poor Maggie! I hope you feel better soon. It is hard to get me to get my drops and I have 2 beans to wrestle with. You are an impressive lady cat. Pretty pretty paws.

ReplyDeleteMaggie Mae looks (and sounds) so much like our Snickers it's uncanny.
ReplyDeleteI hope by now she is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!
