~ Cats make life a little sweeter ~
I collect Flower Frogs. Some of the prettiest ones are green.
They are getting very hard to find.
Couldn't convince five cats to sit still together :)

Those are pretty! I love the green color. They must kind of "disappear" when there are flowers in them.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, my Mom and Grandma ran a flower shop. We had tons of those! I wish I had them now! I'd send you a bunch!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely! I've never seen anything like them for flowers before. Very cool. :)

Please forgive my ignorance, but those are flowers? As in, real flowers? How do they bloom? *blush*
ReplyDeleteI remember my mom having one of these a long, long time ago.. I wonder what ever happened to it? I think hers was clear! Great picture for the theme and thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great Mother's Day! Do kitties remember their moms too?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Grandmaw of the Forty Paws had one of those many many many moons ago. Probably still does.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for collecting! These are beautiful! Thanks for visiting my 5 baboons this weekend! (p.s. I also noticed the nickle!) lol
ReplyDeleteFor the questions about flower frogs, I'm not sure why they have that name.
ReplyDeleteYears ago they were put in the top of a vase. There is a lip/edge around the underside of the frog to keep it from falling into the vase.
Putting the stem of the flower in first, the frog held the blooms in place, and they stayed up right.
I'll post a few more pictures this week to show them in better light.
Thanks to everyone for coming by!
Wow, neat picture and now I know something, I didn't know before. Your blog is cool. We will be back. Have a marvelous Monday.
