Atlanta gets smoked from 60 miles away

~ Where there's smoke... ~

I came out of Kroger yesterday and thought a house was on fire in our town. The smoke seemed worse in the creek beds and lower areas. Turned on TV when I got home and saw there was a controlled fire of 3,000 acres in Monticello, about 45 miles east of here. People in Atlanta with health issues were having problems breathing. The smoke trailed over our county on it's way right down I-20 to Atlanta.
With the hard rain and tornado warnings out today, the smoke has cleared, but looks like we're in for quiet a storm.

My prayers tonight are for the many people in Alabama that have lost loved ones to this terrible weather.
