Wait! Don't go away.
This weeks Photo Hunt is 'DARK' . We taped a Whip-poor-wills song.
You can't see him, but turn your volume up click and listen.
can you hear.. 'whip-whip-poor-will'
Since they are only heard at night, I've never seen it. S/he sure is loud, tho!
This was taken standing at the door on a very DARK night.

ReplyDeleteI heard it! I don't think that kind of bird lives near me, because I have never heard that song before.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know that wuz not an alien signaling his buddies?
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful sound. Happy weekend
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice for today’s theme … it was certainly dark throughout, of course so is the lab in the next post ;--)
ReplyDeleteI participated twice today with 'moonrise' in So Cal at Sacred Ruminations and a 'dark critter collage' at Small Reflections.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea for dark! I'm sitting by an open window as twilight is coming on and listening to the bird sounds. None like yours, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
What a creative idea. It's really hard to get black to come across in a photo I think and you just switched it around and gave it a song. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteCool take on the theme.
Baker
Very dark! We're all looking for the birdie....here birdie, birdie, birdie...we only want to play :)
