In the Lewis Vaughn Botanical Gardens are native plants of Georgia's Piedmont region. The ponds are fed by the downtown water tower which was built in 1900.
Wow, those buildings sure are colorful! And I love that unique tower. Thanks for stopping by my place!

The botantical garden looks beautiful and those buildings certainly are colourful!
ReplyDeleteNice choices for architecture. :) Thanks for visiting!
Those colourful buildings remind me of downtown St. John's, Newfoundland, which is full of very colourful homes and other buildings. The tower in the Botanical Gardens looks very cool. :)
ReplyDeleteVery quaint town, Love the photos. Thanks for the quick tour.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful examples of architecture! Those colourful buildings are great. I'll be sure to bring my camera when I go to Atlanta in the Spring! Happy Hunting :)
ReplyDeleteNow I never would have guesses that was in Georgia! That's quite an impressive water tower and I love the colorful buildings.
ReplyDeleteI love the colorful buildings. How quaint!
ReplyDeleteThe water tower is very interesting. It's definitely my favorite of the two. Your town, however, really went colorful with their buildings! We have a very similar "Olde Towne" section of our town, but the buildings are kept intentionally "period". I love that blue building.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by my blog for a visit. :)
Great choices for The Hunt this week. I love botannical gardens and the tower in your picture is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour's are beautiful! Thank You so much for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI would love to live in a town where businesses weren't afraid of color. That water tower is really cool.
ReplyDeleteI love colorful buildings like that (so do Mom & Dad). We have some interesting cities here in the southwest also (with lots of colors).
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, seems like we drove through Conyers on our way to Social Circle and the Blue Willow Inn. I did a blog about that place some time back.
ReplyDeleteIf you read my old stuff you will see that my roots are deep in the red Georgia clay. Your town looks so typical of that part of God's Country, My home was in Floyd County out in the farm land. I did a lot of blogs about my childhood you may or may not find interesting.
We have a place near Blairsville now, Miss Bee calls it podunk.
I trully love those old main street looks. The colorfulness of the buildings just add that much character to the street. I love it.
