Mancat Monday ~ Bandit and Malachi

Start by doing what's necessary;
then do what's possible;
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

-St. Francis of Assisi-
Hai, Bandit here....Some good news for me!
We got some new medicine last Friday and I have not had diarrhea for two days!! This is almost a miracle for us, as I've had it for so, so long. I had pills for three days, and we started a liquid today for three days. Many of you have asked about me, so we thought you would be happy for us, too! Just hope it continues (and Momma really hopes so!) Mom Bobbie here. We may have celebrated too soon, as it came back this afternoon *sigh*

As you know, this is my new brofur, Malachi, who the neighbor started feeding when he went to her house this fall. Since there is a cat over there that did not like him, he visited us. Now he has been tutored (he misunderstood all of that, see below!) and he lives inside with us.
Momma said 'Another mouth to feed'..we said 'It is OK, we will manage'.

I came from a house close by. Momma catnapped me in 1994 when I was walking in the middle of the road. There are a lot of cow cats there, and we think Malachi lived there, too. Many years separate us, but we think we're probably cousins. What do you think?

Photo Hunt ~ Squeaky

A woman's final decision is not necessarily
the one she makes later.
When the lady next door started feeding me, she told Momma just
in case I visited. She said my name was Squeaky because I have a
cute squeaky voice. Well, the other cats ran me off from next
door and I decided to stay here. Just what my Momma needs,
another kittycat. She thinks I have a beautiful voice and said
she would call me Little Fella. As you know, a woman's final
decision is not necessarily the one she makes later, so my name
is now Malachi. She found out that this is her great-great-
great grandaddy's name. Malachi Madison. That's Me!!
No more squeaky or Little Fella, Just call me Malachi.

I thought I wuz going to school..

Did you know?
Each day 10,000 humans are born in the U.S. - and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all the animals. As a result, every year 4 to 6 million animals are euthanized because there are no homes for them.
For More Info see:
Dog Hause site!
She said I was going to be tutored!!
Yep, I thought I would learn new stuff, but
it seems I lost something and did not
learn one single thing.
At least it got me inside for a while.
I am hoping Anna Sue will quit lunging at
me and Maggie Mae will quit growling at me
and Miss Emily will quit swatting at me.
Maybe I can stay in if they behave.

Wanted to let everyone know that Miss Emily had her
lump aspirated and the result was it's nothing to worry about!
We thank everyfur and every bean for your purrs, prayers and
good thoughts for her. She may be hyper-T like her sisfur and
littermate, Sara. We can handle that!!
Thanks again, and I am feeling better hope to visit more.

Miss Emily has a lump...

In the beginning, God created man,
but seeing him so feeble, He gave him the cat

-Warren Eckstein-
Last night, for no reason at all, Momma touched
me on my chest, by my left arm. She felt a lump
the size of a small marble. Our favorite v-e-t is off
today and tomorrow, so we are going to see her
Thursday morning.
I am 13 years of age, and love to run and play.
Please send me some good thoughts, purrs and
prayers that this will be nothing to worry about.
(((Hugs)))

Tabby Tuesday ~ KittyBoy

Remember,
happiness doesn't depend upon who you are
or what you have,
it depends solely upon what you think.

-Dale Carnegie-
Hai, KittyBoy here.
My Momma is so glad she failed at TNR. I was supposed to spend one night inside after she took me for that ride in her big metal machine. (Not sure what the VET did to me, but something sure was different!) .. Well, I escaped that room by getting in a heating vent that was loose. This led to a very scary time for her and me. After that, she said I was going to become a member of The Bunch.
I give her a lot of joy and happiness. My fur is as soft as a bunny rabbits and I never have raised a paw at another cat.
My Momma smiles every time she sees me, and I am a happy boy!

Easy Like Sunday Morning ~ Anna Sue

Smile.
Have you ever noticed how easily puppies
make human friends?
Yet all they do is wag their tails and fall over.

-Walter Anderson-

We are all doing well. Bandit is still eating his pumpkin. Have been mixing it with some canned food. He is not well, but better. Maggie Mae has been taken off insulin for now, as she was borderline and her change in food has helped regulate her. Napoleon is getting fluids without much fussing about having to sit still for a few minutes and Sara takes her hyper-t medicine with a bite of food. Timothy and Noah will always be on their special food for UTI problems. That leaves Miss Emily, Gracie, Me and KittyBoy :::knocking on wood::: we are doing great!

I forgot to mention Little Fella, the feral. We sent our green papers for a certificate in November, but it never made it to SpayGa. Will have to call bank and cancel that check and do another one. He is doing good, too.

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Anna Sue
