OK, so I have a little booth at Nellybee's and go to estate, yard and tag sales to buy things for my booth.
As everyone knows, the furkids are always in my mind so when I found this almost brand new cat tree for $15.00 I had to have it! There was a problem, someone else had just bought it. After finding out how much my furkids would enjoy the tree, she let me buy it from her!
Inspection is being done by Timothy from a table, Bandit on top, and Anna Sue on the floor. Thanks Lady, for letting us buy this great Toy!!

Several years ago, I had the privilege of tracking Golden Lion Tamarins at Zoo Atlanta. Pictured above is Houston. She was the mother of 'our' group. Sadly this group did not get released but since then, others have. It's so good to know this project is continuing!
The following is an excerpt from the Zoo Atlanta web site:
Zoo Atlanta has been an active participant in the Golden Lion Tamarin (GLT) Conservation Project since 1992. Through this program, two groups of captive-born tamarins have completed "boot camp" (a free-ranging experience designed to teach them the necessary locomotion, climbing and foraging skills for survival in the wild) and returned to Brazil. Destruction of the Brazilian coastal rain forest has greatly reduced the GLTs' native range. Read more about Free-Ranging at the Zoo
~ It's spring fever You don't quiet know what it is you want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so ~
This is Miss Emily (near camera) and Noah. This is my chair I *try* to sit on when at computer. They are not related. My website tells how they both came to live here :) The Bunch

Someone asked about Bob and Patrick, so I decided to take them outside their yard for a little walk around. They wouldn't leave the edge of their fence for quiet a while, but nibbled the grass right outside. Their feet have healed and Patrick (in front) is walking much better.
They are still very afraid/nervous/alert as this picture shows. The dogs bark at them, but so far they've not gotten back into their yard.
A loving family, good friends, simple pleasures, someone to love you, enough to eat, enough to wear, and a little more than enough to drink .. for thirst is a dangerous thing! ~
Timothy splashes water on his nose when he drinks, and yes, that's my ice water :)
By Andrew Bridges, Associated Press WASHINGTON -A major manufacturer of dog and cat food sold under Wal-Mart, Safeway, Kroger and other store brands recalled 60 million containers of wet pet food Friday after reports of kidney failure and deaths.
An unknown number of cats and dogs suffered kidney failure and about 10 died after eating the affected pet food, Menu Foods said in announcing the North American recall. Product testing has not revealed a link explaining the reported cases of illness and death, the company said.
"At this juncture, we're not 100 percent sure what's happened," said Paul Henderson, the company's president and chief executive officer.

I would be afraid to walk out on this steel and glass skywalk that juts out 70 feet from the Grand Canyon rim. I suppose it will be there for centuries to come.

This is another 'antique' picture of Napoleon. He and his sisfur, Georgia, are 15. This week Lisaviolet has Richies Tummy.. Go look at his cute curled up toes and that purrfect tummy! Join us and share your cats picture with us :) HERE!
Finally found a nice item to sell at my booth! A 1940's McCoy Swan and Reeds vase. If the house is open for the sale, I go to the basement first. Sometimes items are there, like this vase, that the owners do not think is worth selling or is marked cheap. The weather should be getting warmer in a few more weeks which will make it much better for treasure hunting!

I came out of Kroger yesterday and thought a house was on fire in our town. The smoke seemed worse in the creek beds and lower areas. Turned on TV when I got home and saw there was a controlled fire of 3,000 acres in Monticello, about 45 miles east of here. People in Atlanta with health issues were having problems breathing. The smoke trailed over our county on it's way right down I-20 to Atlanta. With the hard rain and tornado warnings out today, the smoke has cleared, but looks like we're in for quiet a storm.
My prayers tonight are for the many people in Alabama that have lost loved ones to this terrible weather.

One little dish with blue flowers, a little cat to hold something tiny, three pictures on tile, a brass stamp holder and a little pitcher. I like the fruit pictures, but need to put them in my booth. It's hard to let the little cat go, may buy it from myself :)
